Even in the midst of some of the most important political battles of our lifetime, we should all take a moment to remember what Christmas means—the birth of Jesus as the greatest gift we could ever receive.
In my family, we have a tradition where we give back every year by feeding a meal to those in need at the Mission in our hometown. It always puts things in perspective. Whatever divides useven politics—is not that great.

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

P.S. Merry Christmas to your pets too...which, if they're anything like my dog Mac, they probably love this season as much as anyone in the family.
